Due to the age of the building and sitting waterside, corrosion damage was found and addressed around 2013, and the entire building was assessed and treated on the balconies, parking garage, and related structural elements taking over 3 years to complete. The ICCP system used is externally monitored. Different condominiums within the building offer different views including  the Ravenel Bridge, Patriots Point, the Yorktown, the Charleston Maritime Center, the South Carolina Aquarium as well as views of the of downtown Charleston skyline with church steeples.
